AVG Anti-Rootkit - A program to detect and remove malware from the system of hidden object (rootkit). Rootkit - a series of programs that hackers gain a foothold on a compromised computer and allows them to avoid detection. Substituted for that system binaries (login, ps, ls, netstat, etc.) or system libraries (libproc.a), or set the kernel module - all with the same goal: to intercept all attempts to find the true information about what happens to their computer.
