Alteros 3D - is a universal file viewer with a customizable interface. The software supports any 3D files (3DS, MAX, VRML, TrueSpace, LightWave and many other formats), as well as 2D graphical files (PSD, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF and others). Built-in text editor allows viewing and editing TXT and RTF files. Alteros 3D can also display HTML files and other documents via OLE interface (requires installed Internet Explorer). The program interface is configured with skins. Moreover, Alteros 3D has its own desktop files format ADESK. ADESK with files you can create graphical interfaces with buttons to launch programs, open files and folders. ADESK files can be used as start-Alteros 3D interface and CDROM interface, if Alteros 3D is used as an Autorun shell for a CD. Alteros 3D can open any number of documents simultaneously. To switch between documents is a useful document manager, designed in the style of the Windows taskbar.
